I think to upload photos, use smilies, etc. you have to hit the "post reply" button at the lower right side of the thread...that page has access to all the options.  :)

mr0077, got that much figured out, but how did you put the smilies icons at the end of your post?

casaleenie 04-01-2003 12:59 PM

I usually hit the edit button and that allows you to use the smileys. Don't know another way...
I'm basically computer illiterate...:) :( :o :D ;) :p       %/ **) :JEKYLHYDE :3DSMILE:  :MECOOL:

Hmmm...maybe you need to turn on smilies in your profile?
I just click on the smilies at the right...i mean left side of the window:CRY: :JEKYLHYDE :3DSMILE: I just realized you gotta put the smilie in where you want it before you type anything else...can't insert them:mad: :MECOOL:

When I click on "post reply" the edit button is not available.

Kelly...
when you post a reply, are you hitting this button, down on the bottom right of the thread (at the end, after the last post), right of the New Thread button?

bittentoo 04-01-2003 01:46 PM

Ron,
Yes-In order to reply to your post, I click on the "post reply" and type my reply. What I haven't figured out is how to dress up my replies with the smilies faces. What do I need to do to get them in my text?

do you see a screen like this when you hit "Post Reply"?

In the user profile "Other Options" you need to enable this:

Other Options
Use vBCode quick links on your message input screens?
Enabling this option allows you to quickly manipulate different aspects of your posts including color, font, and size. In addition you can click on smilies to have them inserted into your posts. You may disable this option if it causes problems for you.

yes no checkbox.

Without it I don't think the smily's are enabled.

Scott

I was trying to post a reply, but seems like most of the smileys are gone. Someone must have used them all up.

Where can we get some more?

All that was left were these...Can I use these until we get some new ones?
