Hi guys,

I'm not sure that you Johnex jockies know that the Johnex vehicle, parts and service were sold to a new company called the Kobra Motor Company. I spent some time chatting with Henry of KMC yesterday. The bottom line is that you guys have not been abandoned. The folks who now own and run KMC are partly ex-Johnex guys (much experience) and partly outside guys (much more customer and service focus and business expertise) The shop is first rate and the quality of their products looks excellent. (don't know if I'm supposed to say this or not but they have a new model in the shop, a slabside that is visually almost dead original .... Gorgeous !!!) They understand some of the problems that both customers and potential customers experienced with the former company management and seem to be dedicated to resolving them. They seem to have the facilities, inventory and ability to both build new product and to support the legion of current Johnex owners. Some of you know might know from my prior posts that I looked at Johnex (and several others) before purchasing my Superformance and had come away as a disgruntled potential customer. That's why, after speaking with Henry yesterday I felt it was only fair to post my change in opinion of these folks. I wish them all the best ! ... Gary
