If you have to ask, I couldn't possibly help you understand..

Because it's a better investment than tech stocks. I just wish I had bought more.

And sooo much more fun.

RockSnake 04-20-2003 06:51 PM

I was actually advised by my brother-in-law (who had ridden in an original Cobra), not to build the car. "They are rough riding, and the wind noise is terrible".

I am SO glad I didn't listen to him.

I have owned Harleys, Camaros ('69 Indy Pace Car), and crotch-rockets. Nothing comes close to the sheer joy of driving this machine.

It's four-wheeled motorcycle that looks much better than one! And you don't have to wear a helmet so you can enjoy the wind noise, exhaust music and singing tires.

"Because our daughter opted not to go to college and we needed somewhere to spend that money."

There is nothing else on the road like it.

Speed, acceleration, agility, looks, why on earth would you NOT want one.

It's good cardio-vascular activity.

Good excersise for your neck muscles.

Tongue Pirate 04-21-2003 12:42 PM

Because it's dangerous?

GOCATS 04-21-2003 12:50 PM

Tell your brother-in-law to go back to his world and leaving the driving to us. I tell everyone this is my boat, pool, race horse (a KY thing), therapist, all rolled into one. :D . Put simply there are those just don't understand thats ok..... more to spread among those who do care. There truly is nothing like owning the "measuring stick" by which all performance cars are judged. Don't worry he probably could not afford the gas to put in it anyway. You can not know the feelings of driving one for the first time especially after a long process of putting it all together. It's the viagra that doesn't wear off!

rdorman 04-21-2003 02:33 PM

Why????????

I can't imagine NOT wanting one:confused:

Hal Copple 04-21-2003 07:18 PM

It is, I am, and that's that.

Therapy

You forget about everything else when you step into the car. Troubles go away, time goes away, you don't care if you have to wait for a train, (you just go around the block a few more times : ) You explore new ways to work. You get up early so you can explore new ways to work. You own one for the smiles it puts on your face.

Therapy

David:) :) :)

to scare old ladies

rbray 04-22-2003 02:59 AM

It's like the Harley thing. "If you have to ask then you just don't get it."

Edley Rondinone 04-24-2003 06:36 PM

or, "If I have to understand, dont bother to explain!". That one suits me to a Tee!
