The lift is on SALE....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME........
My wife just gave me PERMISSION to order a four post lift for my birthday. American Equipment has their four post, 7000 Lb. lift on sale for $1,799 until May 2nd. I ordered the lift, some drip trays, 2 jack trays and the Aluminum ramps today. After crawling around under cars on a creeper for the past fifteen years, I am beginning to no longer fit.:3DSMILE: Plus, after two or three hours, I need a crane to get my FAT A** up and vertical. NO MORE!!!!! I'm beginning to wonder why we've never put a group buy together???????????????????????? |
Wow, that's a great price!!!%/ Wish I was ready to get one now....
|
Shnookie!
That is fabuilous! This is the same company that will be donating one to the "Fling". It's also he same one we bought for our shop last summer! I loved it so much I hammered them into sponsoring the Fling this year! Did you talk to the people in Indianapolis, or the people in Texas? DV..When I get a little more time, let me give you a strong hint about assembly that they forgot to mention in the directions :D |
Thats Great D.V. Sounds like someone is going to get a gggggreat present at the fling. (Lets not even talk about the Kirkham). I am hoping to make it out this year, unfortunately Cobra-less. (It won't be done yet). Hopefully, I can beg a ride from someone while I'm there. I actually bought the lift from their dealer in New York. It's shipping out of Texas though.
The link for anyone who needs it is: http://www.americanautomotiveequipme...1661/index.htm You do need to call or Email them for the special pricing. P.S. I've got to know, How many GASHOLES are going to be there???? TURK? , JAMO? :3DSMILE: |
If I only had enough head room in my garage, I'd put the order in right now.
But I don't think the paint job on the cobra would hold up too well being repeatedly smashed through the roof of the garage. (Not to mention the water damage from the new "skylight".) |
Chaplin,
These were made for a standard garage height! The post are only about 6' tall. Nahh you can't take the lift all the way up with a car on it, but you sure can get if high enough to park the Cobra on it and "most" every day rides under it! DV...Buy more raffle tickets- second, third, and fourth place in the DVSF Raffle are better prizes than most groups 1st place prizes! :) |
Third and Fourth... DV you've been holding out on us again..
When's the next Fling3 live discussion??? |
DV
:) |
XL..I'm ready for th"live" discussion anytime. If you want bring it up on a new up front thread, and if their is still an interest, I will be there!
