Winshield Side Supports
 
Is ther a source to purchase windshield side supports without the entire frame or are they unique to the frame itself???
Recently I took the ones I have to be rechromed and the results were less than spectacular, has anyone attempted to replate these before, what was the outcome. These are aluminum and were plated previously, I do not want to just have them polished.
Any suggestions?

Aluminum? Mine are solid brass. Brass takes chrome very nicely. I would click on the Finish Line ad at the top of the page and see if you can get the right ones.

Shell Valley will sell you just the side supports (I both some late last year).
