??

For a Shelby, I would have thought the dealer would have installed the brake ducts in the nose that are standard!

I still don't ubderstand why guys build these things and try to sell them so fast & expect to get the money when you can go and build one for the same $$$,$$$

computerworks 05-19-2003 09:31 AM

..well, despite the ducts (and the too-shiny side pipes)..

It is a very pretty car and, at $105k with an iron block, is set at a very fair price.

KobraKarl 05-19-2003 09:32 AM

Steve

I dont keep up with pricing on the newer csx cars, are you saying 105K is a little high?

KK

shaps 05-19-2003 09:39 AM

From the leg work I have done, I think that a new csx 4000 car can be put together with an iron FE block, to an individuals specs for 105k.
That said, am not talking about making it "authentic" to a 2000 or 3000 car... Just with attention being paid to the details...
Assuming the car is up to snuff, the difference is you can have a car NOW instead of waiting.

Did y'all notice the 12.50:1 compression ratio?

Ouch!

You'll need to find a place to sell you CAM2 race gas, but then again, if can afford the car I guess the $3.50/gal is no biggie.

Aloys 08-21-2007 08:54 AM

Is it back??

Don`t understand this. Can anyone explain:confused: :(

Where are you getting Cam2 for $3.50/gl? Its $7.50/gl here in New Jersey.

BDR561 08-21-2007 09:46 AM

I just paid $429 for a 54 gal drum of C113 ($7.94/gal) here in Tampa

Regarding glass CSX pricing, Gary Morris from TX had a gorgeous glass CSX (4758) listed at $89,000 with an all-aluminum 482 from KC and sold recently to a very nice gentleman here in CA for what I would assume was less than asking. It was low mileage. Over $100K seems like a lot for a glass CSX. There's also CSX 4250 listed here on CC for $93,000, which has been listed for a several months. Another beautiful build. I'm curious as to others' thoughts about CSX pricing, specifically glass. Rodney
