I am looking on Club Cobra, Cobra Country, E-Bay and Hemmings.
Any other suggestion?:JEKYLHYDE |
nantucket...also dont forget your local newspapers...i see used ones, including spf's , in detroit papers frequently. but then again , there are MANY cobra reps of all brands in detroit. the local club alone has 125 members/cars and there are many more in area not part of the club. so local adv is inevitable with that many in area.
re your list, add the montly ford trader : "MUSTANGS AND FORDS" , which lists national ford cars for sale . several replicas are in there monthly. otherwise the list you posted is the most likely source(s) for finding what ya want. bill |
Nantucket,
Also remember that the roller price is for a 'standard' roller without any options. By options I mean ceramic coated headers, polished bumper jacks or hoop bumpers, four or five point harnesses, stainless spinners, etc.. and that's before you get into engine mods. Don't get me wrong, a standard roller is a very complete car, it's just you will probably want to add some of these extras as it will be much easier and cheeper now than later. You might want an MSD, steel braided lines, better carb, chrome alternator, puke tank, fire system, etc. and it would be good to do it when you first build the car instead of upgrading later. Some of the options I listed are direct from Superformance and others from your selling dealer of aftermarket. I set up my SPF with a 351W 385hp crate from Ford Motorsport, a Demon carb, and the other extras listed above, and with tax and all I ended up just under $60,000. Always figure a little high so you are pleasantly suprised instead of shocked to s**t. |

That was the list that i used as well. Also looked at CobraTrader.com. They list cars from House Of Cobras.

Thank you for your help.
I got some information on Superformance coming out with some new color, Gun Metal Blue and fully polished wheels. Anybody confirm? :JEKYLHYDE |
You can allready get a new SPF in ANY COLOR you want, it's something like $400 more and a longer wait than blue with white stripes. You can get the wheels polished right now, just not from SPF, you go to a shop like "Mag Masters"
