They look awesome Buzz. Personally, I'd like to see the round tail lights from the roadster on the 427. I would like a high res version when they are done also.

Buzz - you have talent!

Hey, if Ford/Shelby do not take your ideas, maybe another company can use them to produce a late-model Cobra kit!!

On the larger side vents - I do not think they need to be shrunk to the size of the original. Extreme-looking is what we need.

Look at the huge openings the Viper has where the front fenders end and the rear fenders begin. Extreme.

Best looking car I've seen in months!

The headlights can't be flat and upright - they must be laid back and smoothed into the bodywork. I will make them a bit rounder and see how that looks.

Here's an idea. Why not try incorporating the look of the original Jag XKE headlights. I think the British motif would carry well, it would stir some emotions that people will at first be puzzled over, an will address the "brick" aerodynamics.

Buzz,

I love both the roadster and the Daytona coupe. Would we all be so talented if we relocated to the west indies?

I kinda prefer the round taillights myself but most seem to lean towards the rectangular. What was the taillight story with the originals re: round vs. rectangle?
John, I agree about the need for the Cobra to be a bit radical - after all they were anything but conservative and mainstream when they were first introduced.
Dior, check out this attachment. It's the Jag XKSS - the "civilian" version of the D-Type racer whose production run was cut short by a factory fire. Not as well known as the XKE but an awesome looking front end.
Hey Cowtown, come on down and we'll find out! On second thought though, if it's true I'll be out of business in no time!
Some refinements to the coupe and (maybe) a more radical roadster coming soon.

From what little I know, the older cars had rectangular lites. Later cars had round lites; the bottom lite was just a reflector, according to someone at Shelby's party this weekend.

Also, I like the look of the "Aero" lights. Tilting them back is OK. But from the front, with the top tilted out, they make the car look cross-eyed, a la Barbra Streisand!

Awesome Coupe

Buzz,

I love the coupe. It's gorgeous.

It would be interesting to see if the design holds up in a wind tunnel and if you'd get good down force. I'd buy one.

,,I like the square tail lights. Which were in fact used before the round ones came along.
