Cobra Revolution attendees, PLEASE READ!! Weather delay? Need your input!
For everyone who is planning on attending our first annual Cobra Revolution in Valley Forge, Pa., we need your input.
The weather stations are all over the map for Saturdays' weather. From what I can tell, it seems we may have showers moving into the area by early/mid-afternoon. It looks like Sunday may be the better of the two days, as they say there may be a lingering morning shower, then afternoon clearing. I'm pulling my hair out trying to decide whether to delay it until Sunday or not. If we decide to delay until Sunday, can everyone still make it?? I really don't want to postpone, as I know it is tough on everyones' schedule, but I don't want a washout either. Please let me know ASAP, so we can decide what to do. Updates will be here and on www.legendarycobra.com I can also be e-mailed at Klayfish@aol.com Thanks. Steve |
Thanks for handling.

I would say to make the decision based on tomorrows forecast. I can deal with a short shower (bring your cover) on Sat. Right now Accuweather is predicting only a 25% chance of an afternoon shower.

Steve:
Penn State meterologists have been forecasting rainy weather Saturday into sunday for over a week. Weather Channel, NBC and CBS too. Now even AccuWeather, usually last to the party, agrees. It seems the choice is to postpone 'til Sunday and pray it clears by early afternoon. Unfortuantely they're forecasting rain Monday. It seems like a narrow window. My suggestion is postpone until either the 14th or the 21st. Hopefully the folks at Penn State will be correct again and we'll be into a better weather pattern by then. Scott |
I'm going to start another thread, but all the weather forcasts I've seen say the rain will be gone by early Sunday morning, and it will actually be SUNNY in the afternoon. So we're going to switch to Sunday.

The farther into the weekend the better for me.. The yellow monster is on a lift as I type this getting the clutch worked over. I cant wait to get her home with a squeeky clean new external slave.
