Good build site
Hi all
I just came across a pretty good cobra build site for a TV show (which we can't see in the UK :( ) http://www.diynet.com/DIY/show/0,1329,BKC,FF.html Some video clips etc of painting and engine build. I wonder if they sell a video tape of the show? Cheers :cool: |

That DIY network series on building a kitcar has been shown several times over the past two years or so. It does give you some idea of what goes into building a Cobra kit if you need very basic information. It is a build of a Unique 427 kit. I don't believe there is a video of the series available to purchase. You'll have to tape it from the television.
Take the information on the series as a starting point and ask questions of people who have built Cobras, and ask questions on this forum, to get a more realistic perspective on building a kit. The series makes the building process look quite easy at times. Remember, that car on the show was built by a professional who has a lot of experiece building Cobras. Bumpster |
I happened upon DIY when I was looking into buying a 427.. one of their pages goes through rebuilding a 427. Very cool. I guess if you search 427 at DIY it will come up. I wonder if it is the engine going into this car?
