Financing with PeopleFirst???
Anybody have any experience with auto financing through Peoplefirst.com? I'd like to hear any good or bad comments you may have.
Thanks, Russ |
I received my financing through Peoplefirst and have nothing but good things to say about them. The application process was quick over the phone on a Saturday then via email. I got preappoved for a set limit then went shopping. That actually is a good negotiating tool if you can show the seller you are serious with a check already to be filled out. I also took advantage of the lower rate using direct deposit so I don't have to mail checks every month, it is a convenient way of doing things. So all in all I would I would recommend them and I would use them again if I ever buy another classic vehicle.

I used them to buy a used Harley Sporster. I was approved in minutes and with the best rate that I had found after shopping around. The bike did not have a clear title, and Harley would not send me the title until the People First's draft cleared. They said they didn't trust the .coms. I told Harley Credit you might not trust em but they beat your interests rates by several points. Only part I didn't like about People First was having to do the sales transaction at a Mailbox ETC.

I have not financed with them but have done a lot of work for them as a contracter. Good people and they are backed by big money (Capitol One).

My daily driver and my wife's if financed through them. Very easy to deal with (approved within a few hours), direct withdrawal from my checking account, and the lowest rate I could find.
No complaints and I would recommend them. Phil |
We used them to by my wifes 03 Cobra. I had an answer in under a minute. The phone rang within 5 minutes with the details.
Everything has been good so far. |
I used them while my Home Equity went through. I called them up, next day I had a blank check that was FedEx'd overnight. I bought the car using their check while my home equity papers were still being drawn. Once I got the home equity finished, I paid off PeopleFirst. A few days later, the title showed up in the mail. Very easy, no hassels. Just keep in mind the transaction has to be done in front of a notary (mailboxes etc. did mine).
