Nylocks and Loctite?
I understood, you don't do that because the chemicals in Loctite will attack the plastic in Nylocks to render them useless. I suggest a lock washer and a nut and maybe even Locktite. TURK |
bad mojo
Brent,
Once when I was younger I went through the same drill as you are going through. I was rebuilding the trans and forgot a piece inside the trans. Out again and in again. Sore!! Finally got it all togather and took the car for a test ride. First time I nailed second, the tail shaft broke. Some days are like that. Keep your chin up. Chuck |
I can say with absolute confidence that it hurts real bad when you fall out of your bean-bag chair into a rusty pile of lockwashers, breaking the skin and your channel-changer.
