Roll Bar Head Brace and Pad
I'm considering adding a horizontal bar with a neck/head support pad across the hoop rollbar on my FFR as an alternative to changing out the classic style seat for street use. Has anyone gone this route and if so, is there a parts list/kit available? I know the highback race seats are a better overall path to take but thought this might preserve some of the original looks while providing better head/neck support. Thanks, Jack

Do you mean something like this?

Thanks Randy,
Thats my design..... I have all the mfg problems worked out and should be shipping these next week, AFTER I GET BACK FROM DVSFIII. Jack, let me know if you are interested.... We can sell you a plain one, one of my stock color snakes, or we can "match" a photograph of your car, We can even put words around the design,.... Like....... "JACK HART" In an Arch Across the top, "The Rambler" Across the btm With a 6 inch snake in the Middle.... Of course, all this is gonna cost a little extra. If these head rests get popular, I can make one that fits SPFs Next. Earl Earl |
Thanks Randy and Earl. I'll definitely consider your solution for the rollbar. I like the total coverage aspect of the design. What is your turnaround time for a blue snake non-custom version?

Lets say three weeks.. My embroidery lady wants two weeks, but normally does better. let me know whether you want a dark blue or a bright blue. Thanks for the interest. Earl egroce@mindspring.com |
