Interesting.

If this rolling chassis comes really complete with the rear differential and drive train as the original car was it is indeed an interesting proposition (pricewise). I just can't understand why they went with the older AC ace model while if they would have put out the "slabside" cobra MKll they would have attracked a greater volume of potential buyer. This AC ace has just about exactly the same components that would be found on the MKll so cost wise it could logically be presented at similar attractive price...they recently offered a MK lll model if i'm not wrong, now the Ace maybe the next will be finally the slabside??

WOW!

If AC begins offering fiberglass rollers of the MkI, MkII and MkII, and can offer them complete, less engine and trans, as this one appears to be, without reserve for $28,500, they have a winner.

As for offering the early "mustache" Ace...why not? Stick a 289 in it and enjoy the uniqueness of it all at your next club meet.

Hmmm...what's freight running these days from "old Blighty"??

Shameless Anglophile..
