Found a Gem at the DVSF
My son and I just got back from London. Had a great time. Great cars and great people.
Found a great find at one of the festival booths you all should check out. Gentleman was selling carved mahogany 427 SC Cobras at his booth. Along with other beautiful carvings, the detail and workmanship is fantastic on the Cobra. Car is about 12" long and polished to a lustrous sheen. We've all got our die casts but this is something special. I think most of the Cobra guys missed him, tied up with the Cobras and the day's activities as they were/are. Check out the website below. Thanks for the question. I believe he was running a show special of $99.50. Seems to be a great guy. Anybody interested should let him know that interest came as result of the DVSF. CIAO. Don :) :) |
My wife bought me one of these Cobra carvings for Christmas. If I remember correctly the carvings are actually made in Vietnam and imported into the States. Very nice carvings, but watch the glue (parts will fall off if mishandled). :)
