Wilf, thanks for the grammar and spelling grade. How am I to get better unless you point out my flaws? :)

Tom, it took me a while, as I'm typically pretty reserved, but I started coming out of my shell. The freedom from all stressful things in my life this weekend was incredible my friend.

Jim, I very much appreciated the ride buddy. After sitting in Turk's car, I enjoyed being able to talk with you while driving instead of yelling. :)

Wayne, you are truly a gentleman, and enjoyed the open discussions over lunch, breakfast, dinner, and a beer. :) Will try to make it to R & G, but not certain yet.

Keith, there truly is a difference, and I think most wrinkles in online personality are smoothed considerably in person. In my case, Dan & Dave Semko were all the proof needed. They were great in person and enjoyed their company. Writing and speaking are entirely different forms of communication and interpreted differently.

I've been talking up the event to everyone who'll listen....Way to hard to concentrate on work after all the freedoms of this weekend.

Brent, it was good to meet you as well! I never hammered on you like Danny S. has, but now that I know you now, I'm gonna have to! lol.

Internet expereinces (whether it be good or bad) have a way of making that final in person introduction that much more precious. I hope you had as much fun being there, as we did seeing you there!

And hey! With Dan and Dave, it's just the OPPOSITE with me... they're good boys on the Internet, and then they hammer relentlessly on me in person! Whats up with that??? Like the Sunday gas station experience... all I was trying was to get some food for gosh sakes! lol. Seriously, there are no people better than the Semkos, that's for sure. I'm glad you finally got to find that out Brent.

(BTW, don't let Dan fool you, it's really his WIFE that sends all those messages... he is INNOCENT!) Well, that's what he told me... lol!

Brent,

Good to put a name and a face together. Thanks for making the trip to our humble state. It was a pleasure to meet you, I'm just sorry it didn't happen sooner.

I'll assume your comment about 'Wrinkles' must be referring to my MUCH older brother :D

RT - - We do indeed have a special place for you. Just be happy Turk and Jamo don't have SPF's! It would get ugly!

Looking forward to the next event....

Dave

Randall,
Great, now everything is copesthetic with Brent and I'm banned from SCOF. Haven't received my dailies since last Thursday and I only picked on you slightly!
Now that you've revealed Sue's secrets on posting, my image is forever tarnished. I'll have to start really hanging out with Jamo to get the routine down properly. The dashboard signatures are a classic which will live on .......forever!:D

We Gasholes have our own method of equalization. Turk ran over Brent's foot with his CSX and what better environment to have it happen other than to have a foot doctor in residence? Funny how Brent failed to mention the incident. The Gasholes would have all volunteered to assist on whatever needed to be addressed or surgically corrected, especially Turk, who would have been reading the repair manual and Blackjack administering the anesthetic!;) and LNP passing gas. Of course Jamo would have been on standby prompting litigation and Flying Freddie would have explained the terms in normal language.

It was great to meet and share time with everyone.

Brent, it was a real pleasure meeting you and everyone else. Truely an event I'll never forget!

David
Thanks again for the ride on Thursday morning to DV's then the tv station--made a great start for my time there--relieved the disappointment I had in not having my car there after planning for a year.
Hope you had a good trip home--great trailer you have also--love the "wife's ride"

Brent offered me a beer to kick your butt out... now, do you really think I'd turn down a free beer? Plus, he's offering me a beer a week to continue the process. Who am I to refuse? NOW... if someone were to offer me TWO beers, the tables might turn.

And what about this "raki" deal, and why wasn't I used as a sacrifical sponge in this experiment? I feel dejected.

Not quite a Gashole, but I know enuff of em.

Dan Semko 06-25-2003 01:32 PM

Randall,
You can easily join the Gasholes at www.Gasholes.com and we'll provide the proper initiation for admission. You will be included in the Raki Routine and the Blackjack tequila inhalation if you bring the appropriate consent form signed by your better half!:D
You already have the clandestine phot shooting down pat so you'll fit right in!:D

I'll give you two beers and a dinner when you visit!
