Is your post count wrong? (long time members)

Ok, I know I lost the post counts (the threads are still there, but a part of the database was corrupted which messed up the post count for old threads), but some of you probably know roughly how many posts were lost. I can manually update, so just make a post here with an approximate number.

Please be honest, and just post once on this thread with the number you lost or what the total should be (let me know which one), and I'll update.

from hal copple, had 568 on the old server, plus now what ever number i have on the new one.

not really important, but being here 3 and a half years, it does add up.

Brent.... I don't care.... as long as I can still press the "submit" button and post, I don't give a hoot what the post number reports. I may have lost a few, but I'm not going to worry about it to the point of bugging you to fix it! And anyhow, you've got better things to do...... like getting the car back on the street!!!
Return to the garage, ..... NOW !

I had 1 more than whatever Jamo has.

Set Jamo's count to zero and Turk's count to 1 ... should keep 'em both happy!

:)

Monster 06-25-2003 11:23 AM

My count has been off for a long time .
Seriously, during one of the ISP changes it was reset (2+ years ago as I remember) I'm guessing I'm in the 500 - 600 range.( I don't live in front of my computer like SOME PEOPLE:LOL:  )

Pete, even if Brent resets those 2 Gasholes to ZERO, in a week they'll be back up over 1000:3DSMILE:

I lost about 700 posts. But more importantly were dozens of pics--mostly of KISS, VICE and last year's Fling that would take hours to upload.

Turk...bite me.

Monster...bite me too.:3DSMILE:

Hi Brent...

I'm missing 700 or so but, it makes no difference. Don't waste time resetting the counts especially since it would be a manual process.

What is the status of your Car ????

Questions...

Brent,

- what is the benefit of having an increasing and higher post
count than others?

- Also, I noticed that Page2+ is "Page Not Found" on older posts if you search and bring them up. If you reply to an old thread, it will re-establish the link from Page one to other pages again... ?

Monster 06-25-2003 06:07 PM

Duane,

Don't you know by now that Bigger (more) is better??
..................right Jamo??

I lost post counts but don't care!

casaleenie 06-25-2003 06:44 PM

DECOONEY,
Apparently you didn't read the fine print regarding post counts.
Every posting is worth a year off your sentence in Purgatory.
Yes, you heard me right.. These are just like indulgences and are worth the equivalent... If you're sentenced to say, 500 years in Purgatory before you get into heaven, all you do is whip out your posting count (certified by Computerworks) and walk right into the pearly gates...
So I guess now you'll be thinking twice about getting that count amended...
On the downside... If you're scheduled for Hell the high posting count only make matters worse...:MECOOL: :)

Jamo 06-25-2003 10:32 PM

Geez, I thought you guys knew. SAI and Kirkham give discounts based on post counts. Like the old Green Stamps.
