Any interest in a post-Labor Day (Sept 13th) get together in Seal Beach?
 
I am polling to see if there is any interest in a Post-Labor Day Snake get-together on September 13th for Cobra owners in Southern California. I did some searching on the Internet, and found Main Street and Ocean Ave in Seal Beach to be a fairly nice place. It's equal distance for us guys in Los Angeles/Ventura counties, and the guys in Orange/San Diego counties. There is a public parking lot right on the beach adjacent to the Seal Beach pier. Up Main Street are a lot of restaurants and other businesses (for the wives/girlfriends). Parking is $6.00 per day.

I talked with the Director of Special Events at Seal Beach City Hall. September 13th is free of any other events. If this is acceptable to all who already accepted, I will drive down to Seal Beach and get a Special Event Permit on Thursday this week. He can then rope off 20-25 parking spaces for us in the public parking area next to Main Street and the pier. I said the hours would be from 10-5. Is that OK with everyone?

It would be great if we could get at least 20 Cobras to show

I need to know fairly soon as planning this takes a lot of work.
