Cal -- it gets even better. Some other cars in the neighborhood -- no exaggeration:
Panteras (2 -- same owner; one after the other) Jag e-type convertible w/12 cyl Jag e-type couple w/12 cyl Lamborghini Espada '67 GTO '70 Nova (don't laugh -- highly built up, one of the quickest cars I've ever been in up to about 100 mph "rubber in all four gears...") '72 Grabber Maverick w/302 '73 Gran Torino w/351 CJ '73 450 SL (my Dad's -- bought it new in '73. Mom sold it a year ago...) '72 Cutlass w/455 '75 Hurst Olds '69 Mustang w/351 Windsor. (We used to say -- gee, just a standard Windsor? LOL) This was all in a small suburb 25 miles SW of Chicago. And I'm probably forgetting something... No WONDER I'm such a "car guy"! Ben |
