460/535...What's next?
I GOT IT!!! SPF 1618 is in the house pictures to follow soon, the Stereo in this thing is unbelievable!!
So I've had it for a week and I have to ask the logical question, What should I do to the 460/535 crate engine next?? The car is fast don't get me wrong, but I honestly feel I can bump up the performance without a problem. So what should I do?

Spoony,
Drive it a lot and hold onto your driver's license with BOTH HANDS!

change cam / lifters to a hydraulic, then add individual runner fuel injection.

I thought that the FMS 460 came with a Hydraulic cam/lifters...

It does, but when you spend those thousands on IR FI, there will be a better cam for the application. I misworded the first post, oops.

I talked to a guy today and he thinks we should go the stroker route this winter, and go for 650-700hp. I would like to maintain some level of drivability. What do you guys think?

Yeah! What Mr Fixit said!
I am in the process of doing the mods that Mr Fixit mentioned except that I am installing a solid roller cam instead.

How did you get a supercharger to fit under the hood? I went to a couple of shops trying to figure out how to get one to fit without modifying the frame or body, couldn't figure it out.

There are several supercharger companies that sell "under the hood" superchargers like ProCharger for example. These superchargers mount to the front of the engine. Most big block Cobra engines have room up front if you remove the expansion tank.
Regardless of what people say, 650 - 700 horsepower is no big deal in your Superformance Cobra. Remember, you control the throttle with your foot. While 650 - 700 horsepower may be hard to lauch with, a 65 mph+ "punch it" is a awesome ride you and your passenger will never forget!

Bandit...your right, I'm not going to be taking this thing to the track and coating it with rubber, I'll be tooling it around and punching it from 35 from time to time, so I think I can get away with 650-700hp. Thanks for the input, I'll look into the under the hood supercharger. Your using a ProCharger?

You want power, get the crate 514, 600 HP out of the box.
(if the high rise intake fits)
