18 INCH Rims ON A COBRA

I went and looked at a Cobra tonite, It had 18 Inch rims.
Have you ever seen this before? Do you like the way it looks?
I thought it looked kind of weird!

No cupholder!

Mine has 17 inch Billet Specialties Rebels

And they look great, handling is much improved with the low profile radials, although it has a rougher ride on bad roads.

I think one reason they look good on my West Coast is that it has larger fenderwells and such.

OH, and I do have a combo cupholder/cassette/snack holder.. it is a nylon fabric type from Griot's Garage, strapped to the lower front of the passenger's seat. :3DSMILE:

Cupholder = passenger !!!

after they have let go of the dash board, door, seatbelts or rosary beads .....

18s?

18's ? Ahhhh, that's nothin. Don't ya know..., people are going with the 24s now. We call 'em stage coaches here out West!

There's nothing like puttin' ultra low profile tires on your Cobra with +9" wheels so you don't need a floor jack or lift any more to work on it. Or, to go 4-wheel driving on the Yukon trail. Man, I can't wait til the 30s come out. Yahooo. :)

There is a Cobra that races in Marque Sports cars down here that has 18" 3 piece halibrand style wheels. The wheels are knock offs and the car is running slicks. The car looks fantastic and is seriously quick, I believe it's one of the cars leading the championship. I'll have to try to get a pic of it to post here. I think 18" wheels on a Cobra can be done tastefully.

Cheers

I'm putting 17" chrome Team III's on my car. I love the look of bigger wheels, I have 20's on my FX45, 19's on my BMW M3. To each his own, if you liked them go for it, if not stick to the 15's. Just don't cover your car in stickers!!!
