Pderouss - the East Midlands Cobra group is going to Rockingham this coming Sunday. We are to line up in the paddock, get pit passes etc., and do a parade lap at some stage. 25 Cobras all told.
I have been buffing up the car in anticipation of an interesting day. Several race series all on the same day I understand. Never been before, so it should be fun. |

Would love to go - especially as the guys there always provide me with a photo pass that allows some great shots of the action. That can get exciting as the last two times cars have hit the wall right where I have been shooting from! Fortunately the wall is very thick! Unfortunately I am already committed to go to a 50th Birthday party on that day so will not be able to make it. Have a great day! |
Actually the word on the streets here in Indy is that George is looking at puting a American Le-Mans race on the road coarse. That would make the 4th race at that track a season. I don't think that us locals would have the fazaaze to support such a race however,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. As for me, who says that you have to have passing to make a race interesting? Let them run what they brung, and let the competition sort it out. That's why Nascar lost me in the mid 70's.
