Highland Daytona Racing 427 Roadster
I have researched most, if not all, of the cobra kits and turnkeys and have decided that the HDR 427 S/C offering appears to be the best suited for me. Are there any other owners of either the roadster or coupe that would be willing to discuss their build process with me. I would also very much like to see some pictures of customers cars other than those offered on HDR's web site.
Rick Ellis seems to be very passionate about his cars and offers a very high spec. for the total build price. He sure has my attention, but as always I would like to hear a second opinion. I am particularly interested to hear about his cars fit and finish and the race track capabilities of his chassis. Thanks in advance for your response, Robert Jordan. |
Robert, I'm good friends with a former salesman @ Classic who is probably going to work for Rick. He says that Rick's car is one of the best he has ever seen. Rick is well known for his attention to detail and his coupe is the best I've seen. I haven't personally seen the roadster but with Rick behind it I don't think you can go wrong. If you would like the number of my friend e-mail me. He will give you an honest appraisal of the car with no bias. He is very knowledgeable on most of the Mfg's and would be a good person to talk to. Good luck!
