1/4 run out
What would be a good distance from the fast end of the 1/4 mile to the end of the strip ? 1600 feet a bit short ?

Another 1320 is enough, if it uphill. What, are building your own dragstrip?

Fixit is right! Usually an additional 1320 feet is enough to stop most anything. Our track here has a sand pit beyond that.
