Damn that looks like fun, thanks for the pics  Keep em comming.

When is next years event - I'm going and since I'm a good foot taller than the little dude I suspect I'll have chance to get my pic taken with a leggy babe

Thanks for the pics, Jamo. Are there any Superbirds or Charger Daytonas there? If so help the less fortunant with a pic pleeze.
After seeing that short focker wearing a Ferrari t-shirt whilst standing next to his Ferrari, I can say I will never wear a Kirkham shirt while with KMP230. That is one dorky lookin' bastid(no offense intended), must be a freakin' Gashole!:p

I thought there was no such thing as to much compression, just not enough octane.;)

Randy, you have just pulled off the first "inter-Cobra-forum threadjacking". Good show!:D

Hahahahaha, the short fella made me giggle.

Jamo thanks for the pics. I have to wait for the car show in November to get anything close to what you saw.

Splendid.

Skippy.

southernfriedfocker

How about a Superbird and a Daytona parked butt to butt (wing to wing?) in front of the Marriott?

Sorry though...no pick.

Jamo, you tease....since you toy with me, I will let the cat outa the bag.

The sawed off little runt in the Ferrari shirt isJAMO ! He just pretends to be a 7'6", 512 pound, bearded behemoth through clever use of pictures of Turk's first wife from the "old country". I met her once when I was in Spain for the "running of the bulls". It seems much of the livestock is imported from Turkey because of the aggressive nature and large size. ;)

New pics posted from the Historics themselves...

Great weather...wonderful time capped by parade laps around Laguna Seca. We left soon thereafter.

O.K. Ron,
Fess up. My spy told me you guys parked your fake snakes right next to the original Cobras at the track.

Turk 08-18-2003 01:14 PM

It was sickening!

I was directed to park next to several CSX Cobras on Saturday. Couldn't figure out why only 5 or 6 Cobras had turned up until I learned about the Replica section down the road much later.

Obviously, those highly informed and observant folks at SAAC-Norcal couldn't tell the difference between a Real Kirkham and a replica of a Kirkham.

The situation was corrected on Sunday, and I was able to park with the other Real Kirkhams, along with the Real SPFs, Real ERAs, Real JBLs, Real FFRs, etc. ;)

I'm thinking the reason they caught me was either...

1. I didn't hold my pinkie finger up as I held my tea cup to the precise specifications set forth in the SAAC regulations;

2. Some overzealous misfit with nothing more than Porsche--I think he's the West Coast SAAC Registry SWAT Team leader or something--cried foul when he saw me parked there with nothing more than a Windex bottle; or

3. The reflection coming off my All Clad finish was melting the wax off the CSX owners' cars.

Didn't really give a damn. :JEKYLHYDE
