TWM/VCP IR EFI
Is anyone running a TWM or Very Cool Parts IR EFI (or Webers for that matter) without air filters? TWM has a really cool airbox, however it totally hides the injection from site. The IR and Weber systems have such great visual impact, that it seems a shame to cover them up. However, it's also a shame to do anything to harm your motor. Has anyone had any long-term success or failure with running an open IR induction system?
Also, I heard that you have to run a milder cam with Webers. Is that true with an IR EFI system? As always, thanks for your help. |
Why not run these filters? They don't take away too much from the looks, and they will fit the Very Cool Parts stacks as well as the Weber stacks. As for the cam, the Ford "F" cam works fine with the VCP stacks.

You can run any cam you want with the stacks, I have customers that run stock cams to a 470hp 347 with a solid roller cam with excellent results. The stack top filters work well and preserve the look of the system, I also sell individual K&N filters for the ultimate clean air.
