Special thanks to Snakeeyes and Terry Krystofiak for all of their generousity this past weekend at the Monterey Historics. Terry had us up to his motorhome which was situated near the corkscrew. Boy...that vehicle is nicer than my home--and I think it might be a little bit bigger, too. He put on a great lunch, despite being a tat stingy on the Reeses's M&Ms.
Snakeeyes Bob was more than generous in footing the bill for two evenings of dinner. Rem, Kati, Big Bob, David Kee, and myself had wonderful time, nothwithstanding the fact that our digs in Salinas couldn't compare with Terry's land yacht. Maybe next year we can put Snakeeyes at the Comfort Inn and I can have my run at basking in the luxury of that mini San Simeon that Terry drives. Thanks again, guys. |

My enduring gratitude goes to Terry for being the most gracious host you could imagine. Terry, thanks for being a huge part of a Monterey weekend the neither me nor my brother will ever forget. When it comes right down to it, the most you can hope to take from these weekends are lasting memories, and we brought home armloads of those. Great company, great setting, great weekend-- Bob |
