Expedition to the land of Kirkham...

After several failed attempts to visit the Kirkhams I finally got away and made it up to their neck of the woods last week.
I came totally unannounced but they still welcomed me to their shop and gave me the grand tour. I must say these folks make you feel right at home.
Steve, Dave and Tom took valuable time away from their work to talk and show me around. The whole operation is top notch. I was impressed with the attention to detail and quality from the CNC products right down to the last nut and bolt. They even made me privy to some new innovations on the way. I'm sorry but I can't reveal those secrets at this time or there is a certain covert Kirkham brother that might pay me a visit. :3DSMILE:
Yes, I was Kirkhamized while there. I talked a little business, got a price and I hope to buy my Kirkham with stainless frame around the first of the year.
It will be nice to own an original Kirkham. As far as I'm concerned there is not a better deal on the planet when it's all said and done in my opinion.
Remember...When you pay for Quality, you only cry once..;) :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

Once again, THANKS to the Kirkham family for a fun visit . I really had a great time..

Hersh:)

PS..Yes Jamo you were right, I was like putty in there hands..er I mean they were like putty in my hands...I think...Yeah that's it!

Assolutely, Buddy!

Couldn't believe it when Steve said you were standing right there when I called.

What was it you wrote on Lew's car again? No way he's ever gonna find it. Still surprized you could get in there to write.

BT SNAKE 08-22-2003 12:18 PM

No way he will find it but there is Graffiti all over that thing.

Gordon Claunch 08-22-2003 06:40 PM

Congratulations Hersh!!! I always like to see an ex-refinery worker do good!! Still waiting for my ship to come in!!!!

Mark IV 08-22-2003 06:41 PM

Hersh...

....do you need a "moyle" to do a "Kirkhamcision"?

And does it hurt?

Rick:D

David Kirkham 08-22-2003 06:47 PM

"Kirkhamcision"

The act of being BITTEN while visiting the Kirkham shop in Provo, Utah. A partial "Kirkhamcision" results from a complete tour. For a full "Kirkhamcision" you must take a trip up Squaw Peak.

:D :D :D

WARNING: There is no known cure. Further rides only give temporary relief...

Hersh,

Been thinking about your proposal...give me a ring. I think it will work.

David:) :) :)

Hey Gordon,
Good to see you're posting. Hey, you just keep yur eye on that
Hydro cat board and work all that overtime and it will pay off.;)

Rick, I think David summed it up very well. :3DSMILE: :D
Besides...I got no clue what a moyle is.

Hersh:)

Hersh, I could not think of a finer vehicle to share space with that GT-40 of yours! See you again hopefully at DVSFIV and enjoyed the chat about your car at the Dinner at the lake.
