Spray Painting in the Garage...
A word from the wise...
DON'T DO IT!!!! I was repairing to prime and paint my roll bar... masked everything and covered the car with plenty of plastic vapor barrier, up to the middle of the hood.... BUT... After I looked at my beautiful paint job... I ran my hand over the hood of the car... only to feel like sand paper.... AAAAHHHhhhh I quickly pulled out eh Zaino, and thankfully it all came off. I also noticed the floor of the garage was tacky.... and my bear feet looked as though they had been painted black (OK I came in every hour to give a fine coating while entertaining on the patio... I was VERY surprised that the aerosol spray cars gave off a mist that lightly coated the whole garage, including the floor... Be careful!!! |
Be careful, very careful with the wives after such an experiment.
I have no first hand knowledge of such women. TURK |
Further than you think
Overspray is impressive stuff. It goes a lot further than you think it will. I was painting a couple of pieces once (not car stuff) with your normal shaker can paint in a large (60' X 60') enclosed building. I painted the two pieces at one end of the building and the next day found overspray on something at the other end of the building.
