taking the plunge
Here'e my situation:
I am getting ready to purchase a CR cobra from an older gentleman who became ill and will not be able to start or complete the cobra after he has already bought all the parts. The fiberglass body has been sititng out in the weather for about 6 years. Do you know if I should be concerned that the weather may have somehow affected the body? Also regarding titling the cobra once I complete it, is there a specific peice of documentation I should get from the gentleman as part of the purchase? I've always been excited about the Cobra and my recent internet searches are giving me a high fever. I was glad to see there is a local club. I live in Topeka. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give. |
Hi Dave,
I too am in Topeka. I bult my own FFR back in 99 and have helped with many more. I am currently building a GT40 NZ and have four more on the way to my shop. Stop by sometime or call & I'll do what I can to help you with the titling process. I'm at the "Europa Garage" on Gage blvd on weekdays. The number is 228-2440. |
Drop a line to either DV or Don Scott over at the CR link and pose your question there. They can provide expert advise on CRs
