New owner questions

I have been following this site for some time now and have even attended the Austin spring events the last two years. I finally have a Cobra so I can now ask questions. I ended up with a Hi-Tech aluminum 427 Cobra (the 3002 replica).
I really need to clean the chassis and wheel wells over the weekend and am wondering if it is possible to lift each side of the car. I would like to pull the right wheels and work on that side and do the same for the left. The frame rails seem so far inboard that I am hesitant to put a jack under them. Is it best to lift the front and then the rear to work on the bottom side of the car?
I don't have a lift.
Also, the car has two electric cooling fans in front of the radiator.
These fans are set up to pull air forward from the radiator.
It seems like a conflict when the air is coming in from the grill at speed. Should these front mounted fans be set up to push air or pull air?
I am sorry if these questions sound stupid, I have had many cars, this is my first Cobra of any type. This car is sure intimidating, I'm bit scared of it.
Thanks

I dont know the particular kit that you have but it should be fine to lift it one side at a time.
If the fans are infront of the radiator then they should be drawing air into th radiator from the front of the car.
The original cars had 2 fans out the front aswell.

Boxhead is correct. I am using dual pusher fans in front of my radiator. Mine can be set to push or put on the inside and pull just by reversing the blades. With the motor stopped you should be able to run your fan and feel air come through the radiator into the engine compartment.

Thank you, mine is set up in the reverse manner of the way it should be set up.

TimG427,,,,yup you got a conflict with the fans all right. I'm surprised over heating hasn't been a problem with the incoming air fighting the out going air from the fans.
