Buyer needs help on Long Island
 
I am snakebitten in San Diego and interested in a Cobra for sale on Long Island.

Would love to get advice on how to arrange to have someone check this car out for me prior sealing a deal. Is there a Cobra "clubber" on Long Island who would like to take a test drive at my expense? How about a Cobra builder or dealer willing to take a look at the car for a price?

THX for any and all input.

I've been waiting 40 years for this and it's time to take the plunge.

Cobra People meet Saterday mornings in freeport At HRE and Superformance !

I will be in NYC as from the 1st oct, and i was planning on taking a trip down to HRE. What are the arrangements for the Sat morning meet up? Would love to meet up with you guys!

Would love to take a ride in your Kirkham if your gonna be at the meet, a Kirkham or a Shelby is what im looking to buy, and i never been out in a FE engined car. Hope to see you there.

there are usually 2 or 3 FE powered ERA Cobras On any given Saturday as well as 4 or 5 superformance Cobras. I'll be glad to take you for a ride in my CSX.
HRE will have a couple of 289 fiberglass cars on hand as well as an original csx3--- that he is restoring. HRE is also a CAV gt40 distributor. So there is not a lack of hot cars, you won't be dissapionted.
