Aftermarket Parts & Catalogs
Hello all,
I plan to purchase a cobra kit in the spring. I plan to start with a basic kit with IRS and build with custom components from there. I do not want to go the donor route. I am looking to get my hands on any information available for custom or racing parts (must be street legal) that I can use to plan out my car. I think that identifying the specific parts that I plan to use will help me understand which Mfr and kit is best suited for me. I am not concerned with an "original" or "authentic" looking vehicle. I am more interested in something that "I" think looks cool. I am looking for something that I can modify as necessary to get myself into (6'-5" tall, 300#), and looking for something that can handle some track time and autocross. I am also not too concerned with resale value. Looking for custom steering components & racks (removable wheel), racing disk brake set-ups (like Baer), Racing seats (low back), etc. Catalogs or websites would be great. Thanks guys. |
Thardin,
You might look at Jegs, PAW, Summit, Mustangs Plus, Tony Branda, Dearborne Classics, and RacerParts.com to start with. Get a street rodders magazine and they will have any number of places to get anything you need listed. Ron **) |
Thardin I to belive you will find anything you will need at Summit Jegs & Speedway Motors if not there is 7000+ to draw from on CC. good luck on the build.:)
