And you didnt stop to ask?!? With the lack of damage it looks like he drove down.

mrmustang 09-09-2003 05:38 AM

Take a closer look, it looks like he "rode the fence" down the road.........No skid marks to be seen either..........

Bad parking

Looks like some one is learning how to use the loud peddle! As for skid marks, even when roasting my BFG's (that I got rid off) they barely lay down any rubber. Standing on the ground you might see some. My guess is he looped it bad.

Anyone know the car/owner?

Rick

This is the kind of stuff that makes me behave... Would love to know the reason for that car sitting on the hill....

Doug I 09-09-2003 07:58 AM

ouch !!

KobraKarl 09-09-2003 10:40 AM

There was a little conversation taking place with the local police, they didnt look like they were in the mood for some "rubber necker "to start gettin quizzical. there were two of them , I wonder if the "buddy" was having a little test drive? hard to imagine a seasoned owner loosing it there.

Looks to me like they were just checking out the clearance capabilities and the four wheel drive system on that car. No mystery there! :3DSMILE:

Aha, Mr. Chan have sorutionnnnn.....

1) that IS a tennis court behind the fence right?---and this was just the US Open week-end, right? It is simply the result of a heroic attempt to get a drop shot...I mean, how tough was that to figger out?

2) the skid-marks are all invisible, because they are in the driver's underpants! :JEKYLHYDE **)

Now you know why I'm in such demand as a private eye!!! **)

Oh, that looks familiar except for one thing.. I didn't hit the fense..LOL.. I spun mine out about a month ago. Was an exciting ride for about 30 seconds. No damage, missed the fense. and the very large oak tree. Ended up just throwing alot of grass and pee gravel everywhere. Came into a corner. 40 or 45 I think will have to go look again. at somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 or so.. went to shift down and missed the gear. By the time I recovered I was way too deep into the corner and it just plain and simply reached the mythical point of centrifugal force exceeds friction co-efficient between tires and road and around we went. Other difference is I definately left skid marks on the road, lots of them. There weren't any skid marks in my shorts but I can't vouch for my passenger LOL...All he could say was " All I could see was that 10ft. dia. Oak tree comming at us at about 100 mph.. I replied, "Oh heck I wasn't worried about the oak tree, we were way past that, my concern was that darn barbed wire fense." I did managed to grab 3d about the second or third sideways spin to the right I think and while we were going backwards towards the fense I let out the clutch and got enough spin out of the back tires to keep us from actually hitting the fense, at least that's my belief because otherwise I'm sure we would have smacked it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't my good luck that was the deciding factor. At least pretty sure..hahaah. At any rate we just restarted the engine, eased back on the road and went on our merry way like it was meant to happen that way. Hasn't changed my desire to drive my "Lady" nor the way I drive her, in fact I'd almost have to say it was quite exilerating..

GerryA-

When I absolutely and totally screw up I keep it to myself.

When my screw up involves innocent people I FOR SURE keep it to myself - let alone brag about it and say that I am going to keep on doing it.

I have screwed up - I would think that most of us have - I will probably screw up again in the future - but I would like to think that I won't do the same thing over again!

I hope the roast isn't too bad - good luck.

Gerry - Just imagine if that was not an oak tree but instead a 6 year old little boy holding a ball in his hands with his mouth and eyes wide open and so scared that he can't move his body out of the way. I must say that you were very lucky. Maybe next time you won't be but lets hope there is no next time.

Catch ya later
