B. Smith, I think all the origianl cars had red lights and red reflectors. I will check my files for any cars that might have yellow lights, but I think those in books I have seen are either non-original, or of European original. The Europeans required turn signals to be amber in the 60's, and perhaps the AC 289's (which were the 427 body and chassis with a 289 engine)had those amber lights.

One other consideration is the brightness of each. I have been told that the round lights are significantly brighter than the rectangular ones. I choose round lights so that somebody behind me would STOP when I did! But I agree the rectangulars look better, and they are "correct" for a 427SC.
