I received mine a couple of weeks ago... I know what you mean - lots of questions. Here is a web site that has a lot of knowledgeable Unique owners available to answer questions specific to Unique’s http://www.uniquecobra.com/
It's gonna be a blast!

Hey Cobragar,

Welcome to the family. I picked my 427SC Unique body up from the painter a month ago now the real fun begins. I actually assembled it last year and drove it 600 miles then took it apart to get it painted. Hope to hear from you and see pics as you assemble.
The Unique forum pgermond mentioned is growing every day be sure to join it as well.

Good luck

Brent

Looks like several new Unique owners...
What was the reason for deciding on the Unique cars???
So many different brands and I'm curious....

UNIQUE

Why Unique you ask? easy just add up every thing you get with a DELUXE PALLET KIT parts and labor the math speaks for itself. With all due respect In an non doner build a FFR cobra is the same money if not more. And at they other end an ERA will cost 10 to 15 thou more to get to that stage.
thanks DEAN

I had Viper blue with Lemans white stripes and it looked great! Wish the car was still in one piece! You'll be happy with the color and you'll get lots of compliments on it. Good luck.

I did about eight months of solid research - reading, talking to owners of all different manufacturers, did a lot of ease dropping on various forums, and damn near wore out my Internet browser. When I started I was going to go the FFR route - but then I felt I would basically have a used Mustang (no slam... just fact), plus I was NOT interested in stripping a Mustang and dealing with all the discarded stuff. I wanted it to be new. I wanted the experience of putting the car together, so that eliminated Superformance and Backdraft. For me, that left two options - A Unique, which I had heard very good things about, or an ERA, which for my first time out seemed a bit too spendy.

I spoke with Alan and Maurice off and on for a month or two and in April sent them my deposit check - - I have no regrets and would recommend the car and the Weaver's to anyone who asks my opinion.

Bill Parhame (Southern Automotive) talked my out of a small block and into a big block (I'm glad he did).

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Phil

I travel for a living and have gone everywhere and talked to everybody (OK, almost everybody) since early '99 and, though I would like to have a Shelby or ERA, the Unique is just as good and a much better deal. (whew!!) I sent my deposit in two months ago.
