Johnex- What Happen?
Anyone know what happened to jihnex cobras. Also, I heard that someone from johnex has started their own shop? Can anyone confirm this. And if so, anyone have contact numbers?
|
Ahem! Hemhem, visit this site. I think they have taken over Johnex's frames, molds and construction.
http://www.kmcobras.com./index.html I hope they keep it going because the johnex chassis was a good one and it would be nice to see continued production and development. |

You are correct. These people did take over the Johnex line and the chassis and body is unchanged. One way or another, I think you will see this particular product continue. It's too good to let go. |
I don't suppose that anyone knows the prices. Are they similar to the old Johnex Cobra. The web site is kind of thin.

Drive over to their shop; it's on Mississauga Rd just a little north of 407; it's almost across the road from the Lion Head golf course. Should take you no more than 20 minutes to drive there. I believe CSC still manufacture the frames, so there're similar to the old Johnex. |
That's close to there old location isn't it?

You should call them to set something up before you go. The last time I dropped in, the only person there was John Smythe of Heritage Coach Trimming. He shares the shop with KMC. If you're interested, I can e-mail you some contact info. |
Anyone know if KMC is still around ? Location ? Phone # ?
apparently I just acquired a Johnex 289 kit and chassis so I want to look into it further thanks G. Mills 10-27-2020 |
