PA Specially Constructed Vehicle
Folks,
Anyone have any experience with the inspection for a Specially Constructed Vehicle in PA? In particular, what were the emission control requirements? I have a call in to the state, but they are slow to respond. In the MV426 booklet it states "Must have emission controls based on the OEM's chassis model year. (Collectible vehicles exempt.)" Thanks, Greg |
Greg,
I've been through this and it's not too bad. Send me an e-mail and I'll give you a call when I can. It will probably be Thursday. Jack Z. |
Jack,
I sent you e-mail with my number. Thanks for the reply. Greg |
Anybody else?

http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...threadid=42044 I've been gone from PA for a little over three years, but I think the law is still the same. As long as you don't exceed 5000 miles per year, you have to go to the inspection and get the sticker but you're exempt from having to take the actual test. As usual, all they really want is your money. |
Chopper,
Excellent. That's what I was looking for... Thanks for the reply. Greg |
Greg,
I just went through the process with mine. I can show you what the paperwork needs to look like and have the number of the DMV person who approves all of them if you have any questions you can't find an answer to. I'm a little North of Fogelsville. Send me a private e-mail with your number if I can help. Best Regards, Jim |
