a or b question
a) should i finish the car and get it running. and then disassemble it for a paint job.
b) should i disassemble the car get paint job and assemble and it get it runnig. the car is deluxe pallet kit from unique. |
cobragar,
A) I would want to eliminate every possible step i could before painting, keep those hours after paint to a minimum, you will certainly save some nicks and scratches. KK |
I agree with KKarl. Get the Cobra running, all the kinks worked out, have everything "settle in." Make all the little changes, you know, " just a thing or two," and once it's all shaken down, disassemble VERY carefully for the trip to the painter. So, What color have you chosen?

In order to disassemble an operational Unique, you'll have to drain the brake lines and clutch line. You'll also have to break the fuel line connections which will probably mean draining the tank (or at least running it dry). Just my two cents.
