I paid $800 to ship a Corvette from Michigan to Pennsylvania.
He did a great job! His name is Kevin Bowers, 419-344-4993 But I don't know how far he goes. He has a flat bed. . . Good luck! |
There are a number of good companies depending upon personal experiences. I have used InterCity Lines twice and would definetly use them again. Met every commitment. In both cases, husband and wife driving teams.
When pricing, specify if you want standby, less expensive, or a specific date and time, more expensive. Quote can be obtained via their web site: http://www.intercitylines.com/ |
ENTDOC,
I recently paid $750 to Intercity Transportation to ship my daughter's Audi from So. Fla. to DC. Enclosed carrier; the only way to ship the Cobra. If no engine, expect to paid alittle more to push or winch on the truck. Call around, I have used Horsless Carriage, Passport, and Intercity, and their prices do vary. I think it all depends on just how busy they are and if the truck is going your way without a full load. My guess, from Provo to SC, around $1300; lets us know. All the ones I have used are really good. TL :MECOOL: |
I used Newman International to transport my Cobra from Sarasota to Los Angeles. They specialize in West Coast to Southeast car transport. Cost me $1,475. Professional good service in a huge enclosed trailer.
Call Giselle Miklus at 813 221 5000. www.newmaninternational.com Good luck Shin |
I paid a little less than $1400 to ship mine from Michigan to California with Intercity. I will use them again if I need to. All time commitments were kept on time or early. Took great car with the car. Check their web site as they do sometimes have special deals. I think it is interctiylines.com if I remember right.

Make sure you check....
the anti freeze.
I sold a 73 Tran Am last January to a guy in South Carolina, he paid for the shipping from Oregon and chose the carrier. The carrier made a stop in Michigan on the way to pick up another car. I had enough anti freeze in it for Oregon, not the cold northeast. Yep, the block broke, #'s matching and a new rebuild. I am happy I got the money up front.:D Scott S |
