Place to install Rear Gears?
Hi, everyone. I am new to the cobra club, and in need of some assistance.
I am trying to locate a shop that will install a set of 3.55 gears into the Ford 8.8" rear. I am located just outside Leesburg Virginia, on a farm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :3DSMILE: |

Welcome to the forum. I would also direct you to capitalareacobraclub.com . We have about 40 cars in and around the DC area, with a lot of very knowledgable guys, three or four actually in Leesburg. Those that don't know anything, like me, are generally good for a laugh, at least. E-mail Scott Harrison from the site and he can get you logged in to be able to make posts. I can't answer your question, but if you make the trip to the Vienna Inn on Route 123 in Vienna on Saturday morning at about 8:00, you'll get some good suggestions as well as some really good, greasy food. Perhaps half of the group are FFR types. Hope to see you there. By the way, we have a David Tilton already, so a David Talton can only add worthwhile confusion.:cool: |
