Lonestar owners w/ turkey pans ?
I'm wanting to talk to Lonestar owners that hopefully...have turkey pans, to see if they fit. By my measurements using my old carb & 14" round air cleaner vs the new Berry Grant carb, turkey pan & Hellings & Stellings air cleaner, the height are the same at 6"....The width is 10-3/4" and length is 15". The only difference between the two is the length 1" extra in length with the pan. Lonestar says it wont fit. I would have to lower the engine mounts, mock up & measure headers & collectors because the would have to be custom made ect...ect.... I said it's not worth it for just a turkey pan. I just got done measuring & I can't believe that the 1" extra in length is the problem. I'm not saying their wrong but 1".... ? Unless I had a brain fart while measuring, it may work. My motor is out of the car being rebuilt so I can't mock it up right now.
Thanks, Kev  |
