Where was the Shelby American VIN plate placed in the original cars?
I assume somewhere under the hoo, but what was the exact location? cb

The plates were on the top of the passenger side footbox. I can post photos or e-mail them to you if you need them.

Some of the Competition cars had them placed on the front of the dash on the passenger side, but Jim is correct, the primary place on street cars was on the footbox.
