How do hard tops attach to the car?

I'm curious where hardtops attach to the car. Are there latches on the windshield as well as latches on the rear deck of the car.
Thanks for any information,

Mine has clips on the outside of the windshield frame and on the inside of the car just behind the door.

I have two clips, one on the outside of each windshield frame. I hve five wing nuts atttaching into the top of the windshield frame. Just behind each door, I have nut and bolts. THe front and back of the hardtop have a rubber seal. Between the hardtop and the body is the 3M clear plastic material to protect the paint from damage by rubbing from the hardtop. My is an SPF and came with this arrangement from SPF.
