I figure if Joebio has already done some homework, why not display it and make it a meaningful contribution to the board. so far all we got is the smilie thingie:LOL: . Pretty ballsy with two posts doing that to someone with as many posts as Roscoe. We'll see how real, whoops I hate that word ;) , ambitious Joey is.

Edley Rondinone 10-09-2003 04:41 PM

As long as it has a small block Ford.......HE CANT GO WRONG!

Roscoe 10-09-2003 05:00 PM

OK Joeblo...why don't you post some of your research and give us your opinions on what you've got so far??? Hmmmmmm?

Roscoe

Fox 10-09-2003 05:46 PM

Look, how can I possibly rack up a few posts, and try to be helpful with you guys giggling in the background.

By the way a small block has a place, it just happens to be in a 289 FIA...LOL

P.S. How do I download that finger thingeeee? -John

ToyCollector 10-09-2003 06:52 PM

Click on Chaplin's redface.jpg with your right mouse button and save it to your harddrive. Roscoe, don't you hate how close the i and the l are on the keyboard :D .

Brent Mills 10-09-2003 07:53 PM

Guys, what the heck happened here? Looks like a legit question, and this IS a good place to do the research, so leaving to go do research and then come back seems pointless. Answer the questions or don't, but there's no need to just send someone packing for asking a question (even if they haven't done as good of research as you or I could).

ToyCollector 10-09-2003 08:04 PM

Brent, he already has a partial list done. Why not post it so 20 others don't have to re-create it? He may already know about Unique, why create a post telling him about Unique, and on and on. And frankly, knowledge of his budget would help as well.

Excaliber 10-09-2003 08:26 PM

,,,,,,,,, that little red face devil made me do it (still giggling).

Ernie

Chaplin 10-09-2003 09:52 PM

It's Roscoe's fault. Nice going Roscoe:LOL:

Brent,
I agree, this site has been a wealth of information for me. It helped me make my decision. I am sure glad I was not treated the same way this guy is being treated.
Joebio,
send me a private e-mail I will talk cobras with you anytime.

Re: KIT MANUFACTORS

Dwight

Thank you very much I was reading through this morning and was getting ready to cut and paste all my links for the folks to fill in the blanks and then I get to yours and there they are Thank you so much!
I will continue to investigate and REASEARCH This board helps a ton.

As for Mr Roscoe, no hard feelings I can tell by the number of posts you have you have been here much longer then I. I look forward to many, umm, spirited debates.

Joebio 10-10-2003 08:01 AM

Mr Mike

Thanks alot I will be sure to take you up on that as well as begin to post more questions!

Roscoe 10-10-2003 08:02 AM

Regarding Joeblo:

I knew he was an a$$hole, and not a gasshole, from the beginning.

Roscoe: A good judge of character

Joebio 10-10-2003 08:07 AM

Why am I an a$$hole?

You were rude, I fired back, its not a big deal I can take it, being that I am a big boy. I tried to end it with you by joking about it. Let me put it this way, if my post offended you I apologize.

I will be sure to not give you any type of ribbing in the future, the icons are meant as a joke, lighten up, I have.

Cracker 10-10-2003 08:22 AM

Come on guys - both of you. You'd think I was a moderator here.%/
All was cute now lets answer his questions.

Budget?
0-20,000 Toyota Tercel (no offense John Owen:p )

20,001 - 40,000+ Unique, FFR + tons more!

40,001 - 60,000 + ERA, Superformance, Shelby (new glass), Contemporary (some of these are also in lower bracket)

60,001 + Kirkham, Shelby & some ERA's - Overall these are probably the best replica's available - I'd personally vote for the Kirkham.

You will almost always do better buying a completed new/used car. If anyone was offended by be categorizations - I'm sorry and it wasn't intended - now wasn't that nice!:D

computerworks 10-10-2003 08:22 AM

Joe - Roscoe... back to your corners.

Don't let this misguided thread get any worse.

Joe...edit the pics out or I will.

Chaplin 10-10-2003 08:26 AM

On a serious note, how do you manage to post mulitple pictures in the same thread. I've been here for 1000 + posts now and I can't figure it out. :( Joe comes along and on his third post manages to do it? How is it done?

computerworks 10-10-2003 08:31 AM

Use the Image tag (above the area where you type your reply (IMG)

Chaplin 10-10-2003 08:34 AM

Ron, that brings up a Http: address. Does that mean that you can only insert multiple pics if you link to them? Because whenever I post pics I usually use the "Attach file" function.
