Russ: I think the term is FUGLY!! lol !!! (****in' ugly)

MysteryTrain 10-18-2003 12:03 AM

Duane - thanks for the info. I thought as much.

Scott - good point about open tracking. Attrition is key.

Russ - That's hilarious! "Hardcastle & McCormick?" Geez, I'd forgotten all about that show. Yeah, Coyote X, what a POS!

Edley - amen.

petek 10-18-2003 06:11 PM

Hey, now wait a minute. The "Coyote", a VW based replica of a M6GT was a, um, ok, a POS. But with the proper frame, engine, etc. ... we'll I'll let you know when I've finished with mine. (Click on the second button, the one that says M6GT.)

I was at R&G. Dragons were gonna do what to whom? They were sent back to where they came from with their scaly little tails tucked between those ....well, those funky bodies of theirs. Better luck next year, boys. HP to weight, going deep in the turns, inertia management, and hooking it up. Its not rocket science.

decooney 10-18-2003 10:15 PM

bobl,
thanks for the update. Can't wait to hear the details so I can reply to all those taunting emails from the the Dragon folks starting with "Hey, how'd it go?" and then some...

Bill Wells 10-19-2003 03:48 AM

yeah, but look at all the free publicity those DRAGON folks got on this site to be exposed to 5000 or so direct hard nosed performance freaks. i would not have known about the dragon until kit car mag would show it months later in their run/gun articles. 5 pages of publicity here, america, whadda country. glad al gore invented the internet. hehehe... b

Nuke427 10-19-2003 05:03 AM

Free publicity, more like embarassment. If I owned one I'd keep it in the garage. So I wouldn't be seen in it. I don't care if the car goes 0-100 in 5 seconds and stops 100-0 in 50 feet, it's ugly.

Nuke427 10-19-2003 05:21 AM

I can't stop thinking that someone is actually shelling out money and sweat to build one of those things! Did I mention that it was UGLY! Oh yeah, in their ad it states, "free seeing eye dog with purchase."

427sharpe 10-19-2003 09:26 PM

Nuke.....right on! That is one UGLY pos!
If they're supplying guide dogs, the dogs better be toothless, 'cause if you make a German Shepard ride in that he's gonna tear you a new hole or two.......
