Battery....sub size

Is anyone using a sub sized 12 volt battery in their car? You know the sealed ones that are similar to that used in light aircraft. Saving weight seems like a good idea as long as it is not at the expense of reliability??? Similar in size & concept the to the old Varley from years gone by. www.odysseybatteries.com

What type is used in the CSX continuation cars as an option???Behind passenger seat.

Rick,
I have a brand new pair of Optima batteries still in the wrapper that were originally for my CSX. If you're interested, I'll sell them to you for $100 plus shipping.;)

Dan, are they the dual 6 volt batteries? If so, I'd be interested. You know how to find me :) .
