stroker kits
i need your help guys!
* what do you prefer for street use (daily driver): 331 or 347 stroker? * for a good 1/4 mile car & street daily use: 5.0 or 5.8? why? carb or EFI?, 4 speed toploader or T5? * i like a 79 mustang, but i'm not sure what engine i have use (daily driver): 5.0 or 351W, carburated or fuel injected......... what do you recomend me? why? thanks for your comments........ |
either of these engines will work well for a cobra.
I have a 5.8 in mine and it has all the power you need and depending on how it's built is very streetable. |
More displacement is almost always better. Carb is MUCH easier and cheaper to get working correctly than EFI, and makes just as much HP. Read a book about rebuilding small block fords, "speed220" on this site has written a good one.
