4 post lifts:Anyone have a "direct lift"?
I have searched the site and found many references to a number of lifts, but no mention of "Direct Lift" ( www.directlift.com). They seem to have a lift listed for $1995, which is 300-1500 less than others. Another reason I am looking at them is they have a Canadian dealer, which looks after shipping/broker costs that can add $500 to my cost.
If you don't want to post (good or bad), a PM would be appreciated. |

I have been told that the "Direct" lift is the "Built in China" lift all of the others elude to in there advertising. I'm not knocking it, just repeating what the other lift companies told me. Of course they all claim to be the greatest, but they all point to these "Built in China" lifts as lighter and cheaper.

I am not too worried about where it is made, but I am interested in the quality. It sure would be great to hear from someone that has looked at these and ideally bought one. Please pass on your comments!

I was at a large show this year and noticed that quite a few of these lifts looked identical,even though they claimed to be their own. I would think a lot of these are coming from China and being taged for certian suppliers.There is a difference in a 1900.000 and 3600.00 lift ,but you may not need the more costly one ,car storage or repairs? Tout
