bill, scary is a better expression. Narrow, tree-lined, broken up road, fastest i ever went. Not like hot footing it on a broad open road at all. only about a lane and a half of usable concrete down the middle, that airstrip has been unused and non-maintained since 1945. But was fun to park on the old concrete revetments. I wish i could have seen the WWII bombers that parked there back when.
